Monogram Gobo

Have everyone dazzled at your wedding, with your personalized monogrammed dance floor, wall or any area within your reception's banquet hall. They're elegant, understated, versatile and a dramatic visual reminder of your new life together.
The couple's first name or their 3 letter monogram with their shared last name initial slightly larger, or it can be anything actually.
You can use a pre-existing typeface from your stationer or have one designed for you by a calligrapher. Remember, unless monogram is your theme less can be more. A few well placed accents stand out.
Usually many Dj's offer this type of lighting effect and a procedure is usually recommended. If this type of service is not offered by your Dj there are a number of lighting speciality companies that is usually capable to handle this type of service. This is where your wedding planner comes in as a great source to locate vendors.
If you are out searching for your own Gobo it's important that you know the type of lighting fixture that will be used. NOT ALL GOBOS ARE UNIVERSAL.
Any type of lighting can add a unique element of visual stimulation to your wedding decor.
The monogram Gobo is an inexpensive way to serve an eye catching treat that's
tasteful and classy.

Postponed Weddings

With the distressed housing market on the rise some couples are opting to postpone their wedding and put their investments into a new home using what would have been their wedding fund.
The overall impact of this is, engaged couples will eventually get married whether it be in a year or two giving themselves enough time to save money for their big event.
As a Wedding Planner I am prepared to deal with this rise in the wedding economic issues we face. I often tell my bride and groom to be, that honesty is the best policy. When having the initial consultation (which is usually free) I try to get the feel of the couple, their vision and the reality of it all. If at a later date the couple oppted to postponing their wedding day my advise to the bride and groom is to keep them on my list and as time goes on they will be updated (usually via e-mail) with the latest trends and offers that will be beneficial to them at a later date. While some planners prefer not to be bothered until there is a set date for the wedding, we got to remember that there is still hope. Longevity on the couples’ part is securing a safe haven for themselves after the celebration.
When the time is right a beautiful wedding celebration will be thoroughly planned leaving everyone happy and contented and the couple can go on to live life in their dream home.
There are however the bride and groom that just want to get over their big day, honeymoon and then think about investing in a home after taking care of all their wedding expenses. This too is usually a great way of thinking as to elevate the burden of extra bills on top of a mortage payment.

Why Hire a Wedding Planner

A Wedding Planner also known as a Wedding Consultant or Bridal Consultant plays a very important role in planning a wedding or special event. While not only saving you time and money, a Wedding Planner also serves as a facilitator, financial advisor, mediator and the deliverer of your dreams. It’s a myth that Wedding Planners are pricey. The truth of the matter is the bride and groom will be saving money when working with a plannner, because planners are trained to work within the couple’s budget and negotiating with vendors offering the best service for the lowest prices through good connections and deals. Serving as a mouth piece for the bride and groom when it comes to dealing with vendors and negotiating contracts is also a great reason for hiring a wedding planner.
It is important that you feel comfortable and satisfied that he or she understands what your needs are, is very organised and knows about color, music, flowers and have a good fashion sense. He or she must be able to remain calm in the face of adversity.
Many couples start off by planning their own wedding then quickly realise that they went over budget. Between running out of money before their big day and loved-ones stressing them out about what they should or should not do for their wedding the couples are at their wits-end.
The average wedding takes approxamiate 250 to 300hrs and 12 to 18 months of a planning period. It takes approxmately 30 different organisations in creating this special event. In today’s world with alot of couples employed full time it makes it very difficult to devote time, patience and energy to planning a wedding.
The wedding planner works full time at researching different vendors within your budget, and visiting locations to ensure that it’s within your liking.
